Don't get discouraged if you can not find what you are looking for in the collection
of Saxion Library, even though you used Discovery and downloaded Lean Library.
There are still a few alternatives you can try to get information i.e.
Researchgate is a platform where scientists and
researchers share knowledge. Sometimes the article you are looking for is in Researchgate full-text. If not authors can be contacted via this platform.
With the Open Access Button free, legal research articles are delivered
instantly or automatically requested from authors.
Scopus is the largest abstract and citation
database of peer-reviewed literature: scientific journals, books and conference proceedings. Delivering a comprehensive overview of the world's research output in the fields of science, technology, medicine, social sciences, arts and humanities. Scopus features smart tools to track, analyze and visualize research.
Login with you Saxion userID is required.
Unpaywall is a tool for accessing research papers for free. It is a web browser extension. When you install this free extension you will be able to find content from thousands of legally uploaded scholarly articles in open-access repositories worldwide.
With Google Scholar you also can find scholary articles. But keep in mind that sometimes databases of Saxion Library could offer you more scholary articles than Google Scholar.
When you don't want to install Lean Library there is a way in Google Scholar to see whether Saxion Library has access to the articles you are looking for.

After changing these settings, the next time your search results in Google Scholar will display '@ Get it at Saxion' when the article is full-text available in Saxion Library.
If you installed Lean Library: a recent update added a new feature to the extension which also shows the results of Discovery next to your results in Google Scholar.
BASE (Bielefeld Academic Search Engine) is one of the world's most voluminous and multidisciplinary search engines especially for academic web resources.
If you find a resource you need and this is not available in Saxion Library, there is a possiblity to make a request to the library that holds this information. This service is called Interlibrary Loan (ILL). Though, it is only possible to provide books and articles from collections of Dutch libraries.
